Top-tier party returns on Quantum of the Seas: Welcoming the second Pinnacle from Singapore
In the most recent update to the Crown and Anchor Society member benefits, Royal Caribbean reintroduced the top-tier event back into its programme listing. However, Quantum of the Seas, currently sailing on 3- and 4-night Ocean Getaway cruises with no ports, was left out of the fun due to ‘a low count of top-tier guests’. However, the ship promised to still conduct it when a guest hits a milestone. And here comes a milestone.
Royal Caribbean welcomed its second member from Singapore into the Pinnacle Club. Mr Marcus Loh, who has been cruising with Royal Caribbean since 2003, turned Pinnacle onboard Quantum of the Seas on 19 September 2021. The ship hosted a Top-Tier Event recognizing Mr Loh’s amazing milestone. This was the first Top-Tier Event hosted onboard Quantum after the ship resumed service in December 2020.
Together with him, were another two couples who are hitting their Diamond Plus milestone. The event also recognised the top cruisers of that voyage - the first Pinnacle member of Singapore, Mr Tok and his wife, Ms Blue Chiang - who are long term residents onboard Quantum of the Seas.
The ship’s leadership, officers and staff members were at the event. It was hosted by Cruise Director Mike Hunnerup.
The Pinnacle Club is reserved for Royal Caribbean’s most travelled and loyal guests. They will be required to accumulate 700 cruise points before receiving their golden ticket into the most exclusive club at sea. This would translate to around 2 years in a balcony stateroom during normal times!
The Loyalty Ambassadors onboard confirmed with the Singapore Cruise Society that - the recognition event will only be held when a guest turns Pinnacle. In addition to recognising this amazing milestone, the hosting of this event signifies another step back to normality.
From everyone at Singapore Cruise Society: Congratulations Mr Marcus, and to many more cruises ahead!
