In a press release, Dream Cruises’ President Mr Michael Goh, said “With the amazing breadth of talent in Singapore, we are delighted to support local brands through these exclusive collaborations and showcase the vibrancy and creativity of Singapore’s food and design scene onboard World Dream. Singapore is an important homeport for Dream Cruises, especially during this pandemic, and this initiative lets us not only give back to the local business community, but we are also able to enhance our offerings for our guests. Our support for local brands will be an ongoing effort so there will be more collaborations for our guests to look forward to.”

Dream Cruises has also announced its partnership with Made with Passion, a national initiative that showcases a curated collection of local lifestyle brands and celebrates the passion behind them. The cruise line will collaborate with several Made with Passion brands to come up with unique retail merchandise and experiences that will be exclusive to Dream Cruises.

Some ice cream for your Super Seacation?

Ice-cream and coffee lifestyle café Creamier has created a limited-edition Sea Salt Ocean Breeze ice-cream flavour, alongside a selection of their popular ice cream offerings like Plain Ole Chocolate, Honey Yuzu Sorbet and Summer Strawberries. The ice cream will be available by the scoop at the Lobby on Deck 6 Mid, available in your choice of cone, cup or Rainbow Bread.

Guests who opt for Hi-Tea may also find the Sea Salt Ocean Breeze flavour turned into a smooth cream found in the macarons served.

Something for your afternoon tea

Specially-formulated tea blends by Singapore’s homegrown tea brand, The 1872 Clipper Tea Co., have taken centre stage at Dream Cruises’ Hi-Tea. The two exclusively created blends, Cocoberry Breeze and Berry Mint Burst will be available for guests to enjoy, complemented by an afternoon tea menu specially curated by the chefs on board.

Guests will also be able to purchase the exclusive Cocoberry Breeze and Berry Mint Burst tea blends at the Souvenir Mart on Deck 7 Mid.

Never stop shopping!

Food and Beverage isn’t the only area that has been refreshed from the collaboration though. Onboard retail has also been given the #SupportLocal treatment, sporting lifestyle and fashion items designed by local designers and artists.

Lifestyle fashion brand Binary Style, known for taking inspiration from nature and architecture, has gone for a more nautical approach for the collaboration. The brand has created exclusive designs for scarves and reusable face masks, inspired by the World Dream’s hull art and Dream Cruises’ backstory of a Mermaid and Astronaut falling in love. Guests will be able to find the scarves and masks on sale at the Souvenir Mart on Deck 7 Mid.

Cruise with a Cause

Social enterprise The Animal Project (TAP) believes in celebrating and supporting the abilities of persons with special needs. Artists are able to earn royalties when customers purchase their art or TAP products which use their art.

For World Dream and Dream Cruises, they have created a pouch designed exclusively for the ship, inspired by the marine animals that call the ocean home. Guests will be able to find the pouches on sale at SGD 28.00, as well as other TAP items like milk mugs, travel tumblers and T-shirts at the Souvenir Mart on Deck 7 Mid. A portion of the proceeds from TAP items will go towards supporting artists with disabilities at TAP.

These items are available now onboard the World Dream, currently sailing 2- and 3-night Super Seacation cruises from Singapore.
