Good morning from Icon of the Seas! Today is Day 2 of our Icon of the Seas Preview Cruise, and this ultimate vacation has taken us to Perfect Day At Coco Cay - Royal Caribbean’s private resort destination in the Bahamas’ Berry Islands chain!
Arriving At Coco Cay & Meeting Our Cruise Ship Neighbours
We were alongside by 08:30 AM, and we are sharing the pier with Vision of the Seas.

View from the Coco Cay pier,
We could see Norwgian’s Norwegian Gem from Coco Cay!
And just next door at Great Stirrup Cay, the Norwegian Gem was tendering guests to and from their Private Island.
At Coco Cay, the ships berth at a pier that goes right up to the island, giving guests a beautiful backdrop for vacation photos, and of their home-away-from-home.
Stepping off the ship, you’re first greeted by Daredevil’s Tower — North America’s tallest waterslide!
Getting around Coco Cay is also a breeze, as the Royal Caribbean App has a map of the island.
Hideaway Beach — New And Revamped
We were last in Coco Cay in 2022, for Wonder of the Seas’ inaugural cruise. Two years later, there have been a few changes — most notably the addition of Hideaway Beach.
Hideaway Beach is the brand-new Adults-Only beach on the island. It does cost extra to access, but guests will be able to enjoy numerous dining venues and bars, including a Swim-Up Bar. This is also where we spent most of our time on Coco Cay — relaxing and lounging in the sun, then enjoying the cool waters of the Caribbean, all while on our own private island!

There’s also a DJ Booth in the middle of the pool!

The Coco Cay Tram
While Coco Cay is perfect for exploring by foot, there is also a Tram Service that runs every 15 minutes.

Walking Around Coco Cay
After spending half the day at Hideaway Beach, our editor decided to take a walking tour of the island. Check out some of the spots available to guests on Coco Cay!
