Resorts World ONE Relocation Cruise | Day 2: Sea Day (En-Route To Ho Chi Minh City)
It’s our first sea day aboard Resorts World ONE. Join us on our day onboard, which included an EXCLUSIVE Bridge Tour!

It is now Day 2 of our 6-Day Odyssey aboard Resorts World Cruises’ Resorts World ONE. After leaving Singapore last night, we awoke to find ourselves surrounded by beautiful blue ocean, as we plough through strong winds, and 3- to 5-metre waves on our way to Vietnam. (unseasonal, as this the weather at this time of the year is usually pleasant.)
Other than that, guests were mostly engaged in all sorts of activities on this sea day. There was something for everyone - morning exercise classes, talks and retail therapy were just a few of the options.
EXCLUSIVE: Bridge Tour With Captain Pelle

We were treated to a tour of the Bridge - the ship’s Navigation and Safety Centre. Here, the ship’s officers work 24 hours a day to keep Resorts World One and her guests on course and out of harm’s way. We met Captain Pelle from Sweden, who gave us an explanation on the various systems in place to keep this ship running smoothly! We were also introduced to the members of the Bridge team, working directly with the ship’s Master.
And of course, we couldn’t not take a group photo with everyone!
Specialty Dining - Teppanyaki
For lunch, we dined at Umi Uma Teppanyaki - the ship’s Teppanyaki restaurant. Here, your meal is prepared and cooked right in front of you. The Chefs here are highly trained, and cooking isn’t their only forte. They even know a few tricks to really wow their guests.

Ho Chi Minh City Shore Excursions
Shore Excursions were on sale, in advance of our call in Phu My, Vietnam (for Ho Chi Minh City). As the City is around 1.5 to 2 hours away from the port, shore excursions are a stress-free way to head into town and tour.
And if the excursion group is late in returning to the ship, the ship will wait for you. And given the sometimes unfavourable traffic conditions, this can be a real life-saver.
